Home > National Conference of Bar Examiners' Testing Task Force
The National Conference of Bar Examiners’ (NCBE) Testing Task Force is undertaking a comprehensive study to ensure that the bar examination continues to test the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for competent entry-level legal practice in the 21st century. The Testing Task Force is recruiting Subject Matter Experts from around the country to participate in its historic study of the bar exam. NCBE is looking for entry-level lawyers (one to five years in practice) and lawyers who supervise entry-level lawyers (at least seven years in practice and at least two years supervising) to participate in focus groups to lay the foundation for a future-focused practice analysis survey to be distributed nationwide in 2019. Focus group participants will contribute to the study by providing critical insights into how the legal profession has changed and is expected to change in the near future, and what knowledge, skills, and abilities are necessary for new lawyers to practice effectively.
This is a unique opportunity for entry level lawyers or supervisors of entry level lawyers to contribute to the legal profession by helping us to shape the bar exam of the future. NCBE will cover reasonable costs for transportation, hotel, and meals for participants. To sign up, please complete our Subject Matter Expert Recruitment form as soon as possible.
Thank you for your consideration and your support of the legal profession!
