Individuals fluent in English and another language (other than Spanish) are encouraged to apply for the Written English Proficiency Exam to become a Court Interpreter with the New York State Unified Court System. The court system provides interpreting services in over 100 languages to ensure that hearing impaired and non-English speaking persons can clearly understand court proceedings.

Senior Counsel - Corportate Trust AttorneyThe successful candidate will be located in Buffalo, New York and will be supporting Wilmington Trust’s corporate and institutional trust (Global Capital Markets) division ("GCM Division"), including matters relating to its role acting as trustee, agent and/or other capacities on capital markets transactions (e.g., syndicated debt, corporate debt, public finance, distressed debt, municipal and re-insurance collateralization, mergers and acquisitions, large and complex trusts etc.) and structured finance transactions (e.g., securitizations, equipment finance, project finance etc.). Such capacities might include, for example, acting as owner trustee, indentured trustee, paying agent, disbursement agent, administrative agent, registrar, calculation agent, exchange agent, liquidating agent, deposit agent, conversion agent, security trustee, escrow agent and/or collateral agent.

The GCM Division also provides institutional custody services to companies and entity management services, such as corporate governance services (e.g., the provision of directors and officers, corporate secretarial services) for special purpose vehicles (SPVs). Responsibilities will include supporting both the domestic and international offices of the GCM Division. Wilmington Trust’s international offices are located in the UK, Ireland, Cayman Islands, Germany, Netherlands and Luxembourg.

Basic Function:
