  • have the flexibility to handle and array of projects which may involve community education, legal orientations, preparing reports for funders, and mentoring pro bono lawyers
  • have an ability and desire to work with low-income immigrants from all over the world

The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York is hiring one pro se law clerk to serve a two-year term (subject to available funding) for the Office of Pro Se Litigation. The Second Circuit Judicial Council invites applications from highly-qualified candidates for a Bankruptcy Judge position in the Southern District of New York.   The person selected will maintain chambers in Bowling Green, New York.  The basic jurisdiction of a bankruptcy judge is specified in 28 U.S.C. §§ 151-159.  Or Title 28 of the United States Code, sections 151 to 159.

The term of office is 14 years.  The current annual salary is $185,012
